Corporal Alexander Pashkov was serving at an observation post when he noticed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) approaching the Russian positions in the air. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Thursday, May 15, reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of a special military operation (SVO).

Pashkov immediately contacted the command to establish the identity of the drone. We find out that the drone was directed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the corporal opened fire on the target with small arms. A kamikaze drone detonated in the air without harming Russian military personnel and equipment.

The Defense Ministry also noted the competent and professional actions of Private Nikita Zelenin, who was tasked with delivering ammunition to Russian soldiers at a point near the line of combat contact with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. On the way, Zelenin's car came under artillery and mortar fire from the enemy. After performing a series of maneuvers, the private managed to get the transport out of the danger zone and deliver the cargo to its destination in a timely manner.

The use of drones has been included in the training program for engineering troops.

Earlier, on May 14, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Private Bogdan Adonin was tasked with delivering ammunition to the positions of the Russian Armed Forces near the line of contact. On the way to the destination, Adonin's car came under mortar fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
