Two Israeli citizens were seriously injured in a car bomb attack on a highway near the settlement of Brukhin in the West Bank of the Jordan River. This was announced on Wednesday, May 14, by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in its Telegram channel.

"As a result of the attack, two Israeli civilians were injured in various degrees of severity and are currently undergoing treatment," the statement said.

It is specified that the Israeli military began searching for the attacker.

Earlier, on May 13, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the country's army would enter the Gaza Strip in the coming days to completely defeat the radical Palestinian movement Hamas. According to him, the fighting will not stop until the goal is achieved. Even if the Palestinian movement releases 10 hostages, the Israeli side will not stop, the Prime Minister stressed.
