The weather forecaster named the time frame for the return of heat to Moscow

Yuri Varakin, head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Situation Center, told us when the heat will return to Moscow.

In an interview with Radio 1 on Wednesday, May 14, the specialist noted that last night was the last cold one, and then the heat will come.

"Frosts are stopping in Moscow, but it will still be cool — 7 degrees below normal. Starting from Thursday, the temperature will enter the climatic norm," the forecaster said.

According to him, the air temperature will be in the range of +17, +20 degrees, night + 5, +9 degrees. In the south-east of the capital, the thermometer will show +19, +21 degrees, and possibly even +20, +23 degrees.

The atmospheric front will shift from the southwest to the north, so the wind will be southerly.
