Alexander Borodin's grandiose composition, the opera Prince Igor, returns to the stage of the Bolshoi Theater. The composer's libretto is based on the ancient Russian epic The Tale of Igor's Regiment. The sets and costumes are provided by the Mariinsky Theatre. Both troupes, choir and orchestra are involved in the performance.

Prince Igor, along with his son Vladimir and his military squad, is going on a campaign against the Cuman nomads, who are ravaging the Russian lands with predatory raids. The people magnify Igor and his warriors and wish them victory. Suddenly it gets dark, and a solar eclipse begins. The people, princes and boyars see this as a bad omen and advise Igor to postpone the campaign. His wife Yaroslavna also begs the prince to stay at home. But Igor is adamant. He is confident in the rightness of his cause and goes to defend Russia.

Olga Chernysheva is one of those observant and subtle artists who are able to find accurate metaphors for everyday life. Despite her worldwide fame, Sleep Street will be her first major exhibition in Russia. The exhibition will combine more than two hundred classical and new works by Chernysheva, including those created specifically by order of the V–A–C Foundation and the GES-2 House of Culture. The logic of selecting and exhibiting works is determined not so much by the desire to tell a creative story, but rather to stage the symbolic world of the artist in the space of the House of Culture.

The exhibition features three paintings from the Hermitage's Dutch art collection that have recently undergone restoration. One of the permanent exhibitions is "Madonna in Glory" by Jan Provost. Two other works, "Madonna and Child" by Jan Provost and "Madonna and Child" by Jan Gossart (Mabuse), have been in the museum's collections for a long time. These works were created in the first quarter of the 16th century, shortly before the iconoclastic movement swept through Flanders, when many religious works of art were destroyed.
