In three quarters, the number of authors in VK Video increased by 90% and reached almost 150 thousand. This was reported to Izvestia on May 14 by the press service of the platform.
"From August 2024 to April 2025, the total number of new VK Video contributors increased by 69.7 thousand and reached 147 thousand," VK said.
According to their statistics, the total number of views of the author's videos increased 2.5 times, and the viewing time increased 4.3 times.
The press service noted that such authors as Vlad Paper A4, Double Bubble, Lunomosik, Kuplinov, Like Nastya, Arishnev, Glent, Ildar Avtopodbor, Dmitry Goblin Puchkov, Sergey Minaev are actively developing their channels in VK Video.
VK's press service reported on April 25 that views of children's content on VK Video have increased more than 30-fold over the past year, and the growth of the audience of young viewers on the platform is a strategic priority for the company. VK strives to provide children with content that combines entertainment and education.
