Russian oboist Osver received the second prize at the Prague Spring Competition

The soloist of the St. Petersburg House of Music, Fyodor Osver, received the second prize at the Prague Spring International Competition. This was reported on May 14 in the press service of the department.

"Congratulations to Fyodor Osver, soloist of the St. Petersburg House of Music, on being awarded the second Prize at the Prague Spring International Competition," reads a post on the House of Music's VKontakte page.

In addition, the soloist was awarded the audience award, the prize of the publishing house Bärenreiter, and also received the prize of Prague as the most successful winner.

On March 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded young cultural figures, as well as prizes in the field of literature and art for works for children for 2024. The awards for young cultural figures were awarded by Alexey Kapustin, Director of the Design and Research Center for Classical and Traditional Architecture at the Moscow Architectural Institute (MARKHI), Ivan Nikiforchin, artistic director of the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra, and Renata Shakirova, ballet dancer at the State Academic Mariinsky Theater.
