The number of victims of a massive bus accident in the Kursk region has increased to 19 people, among them a 14-year-old girl. This was announced on May 14 by the Acting Minister of Health of the region Ekaterina Pisennaya.

"19 people received injuries of varying severity. Five ambulance service teams provided assistance to the injured on the spot. A team of intensive care specialists and a neurosurgeon from the Kursk Regional Hospital has arrived in Zheleznogorsk," she said on her page on the VKontakte social network.

According to her, one woman is in serious condition. She was diagnosed with a concussion, blunt abdominal trauma and bruises. She is being evacuated to the Kursk regional Hospital.

Pisennaya added that 11 people are in a moderate condition and are receiving medical care in hospitals.

"The four injured received medical care on an outpatient basis. Three more, including a 14-year-old girl, received bruises and refused to be hospitalized," the acting Minister of Health said.

On May 14, a Hyundai Solaris and a Toyota RAV4 collided in the Kursk region. As a result of the accident, the drivers of both cars were killed.
