The results of the 50th session of CIGRE, an association that unites power engineers from hundreds of countries, were discussed at the Rosseti Scientific and Technical Center. This was reported in the company's press service.

At the reporting conference of the Russian National CIGRE Committee, it was noted that during the 50th session, power engineers from the Russian Federation presented 38 scientific reports on the impact of digital transformation on asset management systems, new methods of equipment diagnostics, and technological solutions to improve the reliability and efficiency of the electric grid complex.

According to Andrey Murov, Chairman of RNC CIGRE and First Deputy General Director of Rosseti, the work of Russian specialists has aroused great interest from foreign partners.

"Many countries are interested in developing cooperation. This indicates openness to scientific and technical communication and the relevance of the Russian experience. There are great opportunities for expanding cooperation, including through national committees. First of all, with partners from the CIS, Latin America, Asia and Africa," he said.

The development of the RNC CIGRE Youth Section was also discussed at the conference. Daria Borisova, Head of its organizing committee, Director of Human Resources Management and Organizational Development at Rosseti, speaking on the results of the work and plans for 2025, noted that almost 530 specialists are permanent members of the Youth Section today. Over 6,000 students, postgraduates, and young scientists, as well as more than 100 Russian and foreign universities, participate in the events annually.
