A resident of the Lipetsk region is awaiting trial for shooting three roe deer

The investigation of the criminal case on the illegal shooting of three roe deer on the territory of the Usman hunting farm has been completed in the Lipetsk region. This is reported by the regional prosecutor's office.
The person involved in the case is a 47-year-old resident of the village of Zavalnoye. The investigation believes that on September 23, 2025, near the village of Yekaterinovka, he shot three roe deer: two females and a male, using an unregistered rifle.
The damage caused to the regional department for the protection and use of wildlife and aquatic biological resources amounted to 120 thousand rubles, GOROD48 writes.
A resident of Zavalny is charged under paragraph "a" of Part 1 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Illegal hunting". The maximum sanction of this article provides for up to two years of imprisonment. The materials of the criminal case have already been submitted to the court for consideration on the merits.
At the end of last year, several poaching suspects were detained in the Lipetsk region, who shot three roe deer. Cases were recorded in the Usmansky, Dankovsky and Lipetsk districts.
