In Murmansk, as a result of a fire in a five-story building, six apartments were damaged, the balconies of three of them burned out over the entire area. The regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia informs about this on its page on the VKontakte social network.
The fire occurred on Wednesday morning, May 14, in a five-story building at 34 Kola Avenue. There were no fatalities or injuries, firefighters brought out 10 people with the help of rescue equipment.
As a result of the fire, six apartments were damaged, three of them were blackened throughout the area, and furniture and belongings were burned in two of them. Three balconies were also completely burned out, and three more were damaged, the Bi-Port news agency writes. Judging by the photos from the scene, the apartment on the third floor is now missing a balcony unit.
The exact cause of the fire and its circumstances are being determined.
On the evening of May 12, a fire broke out in a nine-story building on Lomonosov Street in Murmansk. As a result, a man died.
