One person was killed in an accident with a truck in Stavropol

A passenger car collided with a truck on a highway in the Stavropol Territory. One person died.

The accident occurred on the territory of the Kursk region on the evening of May 13. According to the StavropolMedia news agency, the truck was parked at a traffic light near the place where the road works were carried out. The driver of the VAZ-2114 car could not maintain a safe distance and collided.

As a result of the accident, a 24-year-old motorist was killed. It was established that in two years he was prosecuted 40 times for traffic violations. The truck driver was not injured.

Over the past day, 235 road accidents were registered on the roads of Russia, in which 18 people were killed and 260 people were injured.
