- The Anti-Counterfeit Association has launched a large-scale project in new regions of Russia

The Anti-Counterfeit Association has launched a large-scale project in new regions of Russia and Crimea. It is aimed at facilitating the efforts of the state in integrating businesses and authorities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions and the Republic of Crimea into a single legal and economic space. This was announced to Izvestia on May 14 by the president of the association, State Duma deputy Vladislav Reznik.
As part of the initiative, the organization will provide free comprehensive support to government agencies and entrepreneurs of new entities. The program includes distance learning for specialists in combating illicit trafficking in industrial products, as well as assistance in registering trademarks and obtaining patents for industrial property.
"In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, we are launching a project of special historical significance. Just as our grandfathers and great-grandfathers reunited the disparate parts of our great Motherland, so today we are strengthening the unity of our economic and legal space. Protection against counterfeiting and support for honest business are not just economic measures, they are a matter of national security and sovereignty. We can't stand by. Despite the fact that we are not a financial institution, the team considered it their duty and honor to help and facilitate the efforts of the state in integrating new regions," said Reznik.
The project has already received official support from the heads of the regions. The heads of the regions highly appreciated the importance of the initiative for the development of the regional economy and noted its timeliness in the context of integration processes.
"This charity project is our contribution to strengthening statehood in the native Russian lands. We are not only helping to protect intellectual property, we are creating a system that integrates the economy of new regions into the all-Russian structure based on the principles of justice and patriotism. Just as our ancestors defended the right to independence and self-determination, so we defend the right of our fellow citizens to be protected from counterfeiting and counterfeiting. The issue of intellectual property protection is a matter of national dignity and historical justice," said Reznik.
The project provides for the provision of services completely free of charge and is implemented within the framework of the legislation of the Russian Federation. The distance learning program will be adapted to the specific needs of each region and will significantly improve the effectiveness of the system for countering the illegal importation, production and turnover of industrial products.
