A criminal case was opened after dogs attacked a teenager in Irkutsk.

The prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation into the attack of a pack of dogs on a 17-year-old teenager. The victim sought medical help with leg bites.
The incident occurred at the end of April. According to the IrkutskMedia news agency, several dogs attacked a minor, and one animal managed to bite a teenager.
The criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Negligence"). The Prosecutor's office intends to check compliance with the legislation on the treatment of stray animals, as well as the execution of contracts for trapping dogs.
In the Sakhalin region, a criminal case has been submitted to the court against the owner of two dogs that attacked a woman. The defendant moved the victim to her home and examined her, but did not call an ambulance. As a result, the victim died.
