Air defense forces shot down two Ukrainian UAVs over Belgorod region

Air defense systems shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Belgorod region. This was announced on May 14 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"Two Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were eliminated by on-duty air defense systems in the period from 13:30 to 13:40 Moscow time.

The use of drones has been included in the training program for engineering troops.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of 12 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian territory by air defense systems on the night of May 14. It is specified that nine drones were shot down over the Black Sea and three over the territory of the Belgorod region.
