A fisherman died due to electric shock from a power line in the Perm Region

A man died in the village of Kochevo, Perm Region, while fishing with a spinning rod. This was announced on May 14 by a source of Izvestia.

"The body of a 28-year-old young man was found on the riverbank. Presumably, he hooked the wires of the power line with a fishing rod," the source explained.

Doctors pronounced him dead on the spot. No signs of violence were found.

In Krasnoyarsk last December, a two-year-old girl was electrocuted while trying to open a refrigerator. At the time of the incident, the child stood with his feet on a metal radiator. A criminal case has been opened into the incident.
