Two employees of the administration were injured as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the town of Kamenka-Dneprovskaya in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on May 14 by Governor Evgeny Balitsky.
He clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces used projectiles with a large number of damaging elements to strike.
"Two administration staff members were injured – they were slightly injured and were taken to Kamensk-Dneprov hospital, where they received all the necessary assistance," Balitsky wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the governor, the victims will receive further treatment on an outpatient basis.
In addition, he added that at least eight explosions were recorded due to the shelling of Kamenka-Dneprovskaya by the Ukrainian army. The governor stressed that the threat of repeated attacks remains.
He urged residents to remain calm, exercise caution and avoid going outside until the situation stabilizes.
On the same day, Balitsky reported that over the past night, UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had carried out at least 10 strikes on the city of Tokmak, Zaporizhia region. According to the governor, as a result of the Ukrainian attack, an apartment caught fire in one of the five-story buildings, and glazing in four entrances was damaged in another building.
