A schoolgirl was fatally shot in the head with a spear during a training session in Kabardino-Balkaria

A pupil of a sports school died after a spear hit her in the head during a training session in the city of Prokhladny in Kabardino-Balkaria. This was reported on May 14 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the republic.

"A minor born in 2008, left without the control of the teacher who conducted the lesson, threw a spear, which hit the head of a minor pupil of the school born in 2011," the department's Telegram channel clarifies.

It is reported that after that, the schoolgirl was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, but she died from her injuries a few days later.

Investigators have opened a criminal case and are checking compliance with safety regulations at the sports school.

Teachers of the educational institution were suspected of negligence

On March 28, the Investigative Committee of Russia in Bashkiria reported that a thirteen-year-old teenager died after soccer practice. The investigation found that during the training the boy became ill, he was called an ambulance, which took him to the hospital. Previously, the cause of death was heart failure.
