Fishing will be restricted in Yakutia due to the start of the spawning season

The fish spawning season has started in Yakutia. Fishing restrictions are being introduced in the republic.

According to IA YakutiaMedia, from May 15 to June 15, it is prohibited to use the network in the vicinity of Yakutsk, Aldansky, Amginsky, Verkhnevilyuysky, Vilyuysky, Gorny, Verkhoyansky, Nyurbinsky, Suntarsky, Lensky, Olekminsky, Neryungrinsky, Ust-Maysky, Tattinsky, Tomponsky, Churapchinsky, Khangalassky, Megino-Kangalassky, Namsky, Kobyai, Even-Bytantaysky, Momsky, Oymyakonsky districts. In addition, restrictions will apply in the Srednekolymsky district, except for the Kolyma riverbed.

From May 25 to June 25, similar restrictions are introduced in Anabarsky, Bulunsky, Zhigansky, Oleneksky, Ust-Yansky, Aby districts. In the Allaikhovsky district, the restriction does not apply to the Indigirka riverbed, in the Nizhnekolymsky district — to the Kolyma riverbed.

From May 25 to June 25, the extraction of lenka, taimen and grayling is prohibited in the Anabarsky, Oleneksky, Bulunsky, Zhigansky, Ust-Yansky, Nizhnekolymsky, Allaikhovsky, Aby districts. From May 20 to June 20, the restriction applies in other areas.

In the Kurgan region, restrictions on fishing in connection with spawning began to operate on April 10. Commercial fishing is completely prohibited.
