In the Belgorod region, sixteen people were injured during the day due to attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Belgorod region over the past day, 16 civilians were injured. This was announced on May 14 by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"Yesterday, as a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 16 civilians were injured in our country. <...> Eight people are currently in hospitals, one of whom is in extremely serious condition," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, all the victims are receiving the necessary assistance. Gladkov also added that the Russian government had sent another tranche of aid to industrial enterprises in the region that had suffered damage amid attacks by the Kiev regime.

Earlier in the day, Gladkov said that the driver of the Gazelle was injured in an attack by an APU drone in the village of Voznesenovka, Belgorod region. The governor clarified that the man had suffered barotrauma and shrapnel wounds to his limbs.
