In Moscow, three houses of the late 19th and early 20th centuries were included in the Unified State Register of Cultural Heritage Sites. This was announced on May 14 on the official website of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

Such objects include the mansion of E.F. Lopatina in Maly Karetny Lane, the mansion of A.V. Demidov on Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya Street, as well as the mansion of N.V. Urusova in Money Lane. At the same time, prior to this, the buildings had the intermediate status of identified cultural heritage sites.

Ekaterina Lopatina's house was built in 1889, it belongs to the eclectic architectural style. On the facade, you can see a soffit cornice with teeth that rest on brackets with lion masks and mascaras.

The mansion on Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya Street was built in 1912, it has a complex architectural form. It combines the styles of Neo-Gothic and Art Nouveau due to mosaic inserts, reliefs, paneling and metal elements on the house.

The building in Denezhny Lane was constructed in 1899 as a residential building. Currently, the historical decoration of the facades of the building in the neoclassical style is well preserved. The interiors are made in an eclectic style, with stucco and stretched plaster decor, tinted ornamental reliefs with floral motifs, ceiling lights and rosettes, and parquet flooring.

It is noted that over the past 14 years, more than 700 buildings have been included in the register of cultural heritage sites. In addition, this status ensures state protection — such facilities cannot be demolished, and owners and tenants do not have the right to carry out any work without the approval of the city authorities.

The day before, Sobyanin said that since the beginning of this year alone, over 500 permits have been issued in the capital to preserve cultural heritage sites. According to him, many works on the restoration of the facades of the Durasov Palace have been completed. In particular, the antique-themed bas-reliefs were restored, the stucco decoration was cleaned and small cracks were eliminated.
