The head of the UFC, Dana White, announced on Wednesday, May 14, that Russian fighter Islam Makhachev left the lightweight title to move to the welterweight category.

According to Sport-Express, the fighter changed his category to fight with Australian Jack Della Maddalena.

The date and place of the match have not yet been determined.
