Russia and Nicaragua to sign military cooperation agreement in 2025

The agreement on military cooperation between the Russian Federation and Nicaragua will be signed in 2025. This was reported to Izvestia by the inspector of the army of the Latin American Republic, Major General Marvin Corrales Rodriguez.

"Our goal is for the agreement to be signed this year, and we are working on it. But this means that the agreement has not yet been signed. This does not negate the fact that we will continue to develop our relations with the Russian armed forces," said Marvin Corrales Rodriguez.

The text of the 16-article agreement was published at the end of November 2024, and the document has already been approved by the Russian government.
