The National Media Group received a special prize for its contribution to social content

At the award ceremony of the prestigious industrial XII Award of the Association of Film and Television Producers (APKiT), which takes place in Moscow, where the winners are chosen by media market professionals themselves, the National Media Group (NMG) was awarded a special award for creating socially significant content. Svetlana Balanova, CEO of NMG, told Izvestia about this on May 13.

Last year, NMG became the winner of the award, winning the most awards. This year, as Balanova emphasized, the company again counted on the high appreciation of its colleagues and received a special prize.

"At the National Media Group, we really believe that the media should not only fulfill traditional roles <...>, but should also change lives for the better, and we are doing a huge number of charitable and social projects," said NMG CEO, Balanova.

Balanova added that over the years of working in the charitable and social environment, NMG's fees are approaching 10 billion rubles. The CEO of NMG also thanked Maria Zalunina, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility.

On May 8, NMG and the Media Corporation of China signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed during the visit of the Chinese delegation to the Russian Federation for the celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. It is specified that through the joint efforts of the two sides, Russian-Chinese relations continue to develop.
