Deputy Mayor of Moscow Sergunina announced a children's art festival


The Moscow Children's Art Festival "Sky" will be held in the capital's Muzeon Park on May 31 and June 1. The event will bring together creative teams from the capital, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Voronezh, Krasnoyarsk, Tobolsk and Kaliningrad, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.
"For two days, the park will become a large playground and educational area. 600 participants will perform in front of the audience, including theater actors, circus performers, musicians and dancers,— Sergunina said. "The program will include more than 90 events, including premiere performances and master classes."
Graduates of the Moscow Art Theater Studio School, the troupe of the Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theater named after D. A. Hvorostovsky and the Praktika Theater and other collectives will show their productions on the main stage of the Museon.
There will also be a number of premieres, including "Aibolit rushes to the rescue" directed by Alexei Frandetti. Another novelty is the interactive performance of the Kartonia street theater based on the fairy tale "The Adventures of Cipollino".
There will be several themed areas on the festival site. In one of them, children's books will be read, in the other, guests will be told about environmental projects. In addition, specialists from the Polytechnic Museum will hold master classes at the Museon, where they will explain various physical phenomena. The Music and Dance location will host classes on stage movement and flash mobs by modern choreographers.
Colorful processions of street performers with the participation of orchestras will take place in the park every evening.
The organizers of the festival are the Moscow Department of Culture and Gorky Park.
