Drunk driver with seven passengers provoked a chase in the Vologda region

An intoxicated driver without a license, in whose car there were seven passengers, provoked a chase in the city of Vytegra, Vologda region. This was reported on May 13 in the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI) of Russia.
"During a patrol in Vytegra, traffic police noticed a VAZ-2108 car with clearly more passengers in the cabin than it should be. The driver of the eight ignored the demand to stop and tried to escape," the traffic police Telegram channel reported.
It is specified that during the pursuit, the inspectors noticed that people were even sitting in the trunk of the car. The driver, walking away from the chase, grossly violated traffic regulations, drove onto the sidewalk and crossed a solid marking line.
"As a result, the driver pulled onto a country road, stopped the car almost in a field and tried to escape, but the inspectors caught up with him after 100 m," the traffic police said.
