Trump warned the West against interfering in the conflict in Ukraine

Western countries should not interfere in the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on May 13 by US President Donald Trump during a speech at the investment forum in Riyadh, which was broadcast on the Fox News broadcaster's YouTube channel.
"The West should not involve itself <...> another endless <conflict> in Europe," the American leader said, commenting on the Ukrainian crisis.
According to him, Western countries, "as one invincible team," must work together to deal with the largest long-term threats.
Earlier in the day, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said his country had stepped up efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis and called on NATO not to be a part of the conflict.
On May 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin took the initiative to hold direct talks, inviting the Ukrainian side to resume dialogue on May 15 in Istanbul three years later. On the same day, Erdogan welcomed Russia's offer, stressing his willingness to provide a venue for the meeting.
