Three official beaches will be opened in Kurgan this summer

There will be three official beaches in Kurgan in the summer of 2025, two of them on the Tobol River. This is reported by the news agency " <url>" with reference to the relevant resolution of the city hall.

Beaches on the Tobol River will open in the Central Park district and in the Solnechny microdistrict. The third recreation area will be opened at the Blue Lakes quarry near the village of Ryabkovo.

"The preparations for the bathing season took longer than usual. Divers examined the bottom of the Blue Lakes. A survey of the bottom of the Tobol was also conducted in the places where the beaches are located," the news agency quotes the text of the document.

Samples of sand and water taken from recreation areas will have to undergo laboratory tests for safety. The territories themselves will be renovated before opening, and rescue services will clean the bottom of the reservoirs and install buoys. Lifeguards will be on duty at the recreation areas until the end of the bathing season.
