Ryabkov named a condition for new negotiations with the United States on the work of diplomatic missions

A new round of negotiations between the Russian Federation and the United States on the work of embassies will depend on how the agreements already reached by the parties will be implemented. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told reporters on May 13.

According to him, a new round of negotiations on the work of embassies has already been scheduled, but there are no specific dates for meetings.

"Depending on how the implementation of the agreements that have already been reached with the Americans proceeds, we will decide when it is optimal to hold this round in the future," Ryabkov was quoted as saying by TASS.

On the same day, the diplomat stated that Ukraine's non-negotiability was one of the obstacles in the negotiation process. According to him, during the possible direct contacts in Istanbul, it is planned to cover the topics of sustainable settlement and existing realities, including the territorial issue. Ryabkov stressed that the Russian side is ready to negotiate seriously and responsibly.
