- Kellogg announced the discussion of the deployment of European forces on the right bank of the Dnieper

The United States is discussing the possibility of deploying British, French, German and Polish forces west of the Dnieper River as part of the Ukrainian settlement. This was announced on May 13 by the US President's special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg.
"We are talking about the forces of sustainability. This is a force that is called E3, but in fact it is now E4 when it comes to the British, the French, the Germans and now, in fact, the Poles," he said in an interview with Fox Business channel, a recording of which is posted on the broadcaster's YouTube channel.
According to the envoy, such a deployment of the contingent means that it will be located outside the zone of military contact in Ukraine.
Earlier, on May 1, the media reported that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's plan to send peacekeeping forces to Ukraine had failed, and attempts by London and Paris to appeal to other countries to contribute to the project were failing.
On the same day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the deployment of Western military contingents in Ukraine was unacceptable to Russia. He also noted that this initiative poses a critical threat to the security of the whole of Europe.
