The Russian Defense Ministry showed footage of the liberation of Mirolyubovka in the DPR

On May 13, the Russian Ministry of Defense released footage of the liberation of the village of Mirolyubovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) by the military of the Center group of forces.

According to the ministry, the Ukrainian forces lost more than 470 military personnel, seven armored combat vehicles, including two HMMWV armored vehicles. Three electronic warfare stations and two ammunition depots were also destroyed.

"The enemy lost more than 290 military personnel, five armored combat vehicles, six vehicles and four field artillery pieces," the Defense Ministry said.

The village of Mirolyubovka is located in the Pokrovsky district of the DPR, on the banks of the Kazenniy Torets River, about 6 km from Mirnograd. Before the outbreak of hostilities, its population was about 550 people.

It is also noted that the units of the Southern Group of Forces have taken more advantageous lines and positions. The Defense Ministry added that the operation to isolate the settlements of Donbass controlled by the enemy continues.

The day before, the Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian Armed Forces had liberated the settlement of Kotlyarovka in the Donetsk People's Republic. The Russian Armed Forces also attacked infrastructure facilities at military airfields, a shell assembly shop, and ammunition depots.
