The political crisis in France can only be resolved through new elections. This was announced on May 13 by the chairman of the French National Unification Party, Jordan Bardella.

"I believe that the political crisis we are currently in can only be solved by holding new elections: presidential or legislative," he said in a program on the French channel TF1.

He stressed that the dissolution of the National Assembly is not possible until June 9. According to Bardella, in addition to holding a referendum on the migration issue, new parliamentary elections should be held in the fall, not only to give the nation the floor again, but also to obtain a majority.

When asked what he would ask French President Emmanuel Macron this evening, the chairman of the National Association replied that he would ask the head of state what he had done to the country.

On May 3, French Prime Minister Francois Bayrou announced plans to submit to a referendum a plan to reform the state and its expenses. According to him, the country faces two huge problems, including too low production levels and huge debt.

On April 22, Bloomberg reported that Macron was exploring the possibility of dissolving parliament and holding early elections this fall. It was clarified that the French president has been discussing the decision with his close associates for several weeks, but so far the talks are only advisory in nature. Bardella, in turn, pointed out the inevitability of the dissolution of the French parliament.
