Putin declared the West's readiness to harm its own economy in spite of the Russian Federation

Western countries are ready to harm their own economies just to harm Russia. This was stated on May 13 by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with members of the All-Russian Public Organization Delovaya Rossiya.

"The world's leading economies are going into recession just to hurt us. I'll buy a ticket and not go, as they say, to spite the conductor," Putin said.
