In Chelyabinsk, a teenager on a scooter knocked down an elderly man
A criminal case was opened after an elderly man in Chelyabinsk was injured after being hit by a child on a rented electric scooter. This was reported on May 13 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region.
"A 12-year-old driver of a rented electric scooter ran over a 64-year-old man. As a result, the victim was hospitalized in a medical facility," the department's Telegram channel says.
A criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the safety of life or health of citizens").
It is reported that the investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
On April 29, it became known that in Lipetsk, an unknown man on a scooter knocked down a 58-year-old woman at an ambulance stop. The victim was hospitalized. The scooter driver fled the scene of the accident.
