British police have announced the arrest of a 21-year-old man suspected of setting fire to real estate owned by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. This was reported on May 13 by Sky News TV channel with reference to the London police.

"A 21-year-old man was arrested on the morning of May 13 on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and is in custody," the police said in a statement.

It is specified that employees of the counter-terrorism command of the police are investigating the fire.

On May 12, the London Fire Service alerted police to a fire in a private house in the north of the capital owned by Starmer. Police officers arrived at the scene.

Keir Starmer bought a house in north London in 2004 for 650 thousand pounds. Now its value is approximately estimated at 2 million pounds. The British Prime Minister rents out this property.
