The Leningrad Region prosecutor's office revealed violations in a cafe after the death of a three-year-old girl

During the inspection, the Prosecutor's office of the Leningrad region revealed numerous violations in the cafe of Lodeynoye Pole, after visiting which a three-year-old girl died. This was reported on May 13 in the department.

It is noted that on behalf of the prosecutor of the Leningrad region, the Lodeynopolsky city prosecutor went to a cafe, where numerous violations of sanitary and epidemiological legislation were found.

"The facts of the absence of technological maps of food preparation have been revealed, there are no accompanying documents for the purchased products, and the order and conditions of storage of products have been grossly violated," the prosecutor stressed.

In addition, a number of employees of the catering company do not have sanitary books, the department clarified. They added that an exhaustive set of response measures will be taken to eliminate violations.

Earlier that day, it was reported that a three-year-old girl died after visiting a cafe in Lodeynoye Pole. She died in hospital from cardiac arrest. According to the child's mother Daria, the medical examiner has not yet proved the poisoning in the cafe, the death could have been an accident.

A criminal case has been opened into the incident under clauses "b" and "c" of Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services intended for children under the age of six who do not meet safety requirements and inadvertently cause death of a person"). The institution's activities are currently suspended.
