The winners of the V International Festival of Proper Cinema will be awarded at the Victory Museum

On May 14, the closing ceremony of the V International Festival of Proper Cinema will take place at the Poklonka Cinema at the Victory Museum. The festival, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory, is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. At the final event at the museum on Poklonnaya Gora, the winners of the competition will be awarded and the film awarded the Grand Prix will be presented.

Honorary guests of the ceremony will be Alexander Grammatikov, chairman of the jury, theater and film actor, film director, screenwriter, producer, and members of the jury: Philip Kudryashov, President of the Guild of Producers and organizers of the film production of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia; Alexander Gerasimov, Russian film producer, CEO of the Master Film film Company; Alexander Gerasimov, Chairman of the Animation Film Commission of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia; and Actresses Olesya Zheleznyak and Natalia Bocharova, Counselor-Envoy for Culture of the Embassy of China in Russia Feng Litao, Senior Adviser, Head of the Business Cultural Complex of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation Elena Troitskaya, Third Secretary of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Yerik Kumisbekov, Counselor of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation Gulbarchyn Bayymbetova. The ceremony was hosted by actor Alexander Visiciu and producer, TV presenter Yulia Shakirova.

"The V International Festival of Proper Cinema is taking place from 6 to 14 May. In total, the competition received more than 300 applications from Russia and abroad, 41 films were selected for participation, and 32 more films were included in the out-of-competition program. As part of the festival, free film screenings, meetings with actors and directors, and creative events are held at the central venue, the Victory Museum, as well as in its branches and partner museums," the Victory Museum said.

The winners of the film festival will be announced at the ceremony. The expert jury will award the best films in 12 nominations: "Grand Prix", "Best Director", "Best Documentary", "Best Feature Film", "Best Animated Film", "Best Animated Short Film", "Best Feature Short Film", "Best Documentary Short Film", "The best special report", "Heroes of Our Time" and special prizes from the jury and the Victory Museum.
