At the same time, it is noted that in three years the situation of Ukraine has deteriorated significantly: the economy, industry and a significant part of the country's infrastructure are "in ruins." On the same day, political scientist Alexander Asafov said that Vladimir Zelensky shares the logic of the European Union (EU) about the eternal conflict with the Russian Federation. According to him, Zelensky, along with EU leaders, is trying to look for political tricks to get a pause and then continue the conflict.
On May 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia was offering Ukraine to resume direct talks in Istanbul on May 15.
