The Kremlin ruled out Russia's acceptance of biased conclusions on the MH17 case

Russia does not accept biased conclusions in the case of the crash of the Boeing 777 Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in 2014, as it did not participate in the investigation. This was announced on May 13 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"We do not accept any biased conclusions," he said at a briefing.
He clarified that Russia was not the country that took part in the investigation of the incident. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation stressed that Moscow's position is well known.
The day before, the Netherlands and Australia demanded that the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) oblige Russia to begin negotiations on the crash of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777. According to the publication, ICAO allegedly found the Russian Federation responsible for the crash and violation of the 1944 Convention on International Civil Aviation.
The Boeing 777 airliner operating flight MH17 Amsterdam — Kuala Lumpur crashed in eastern Ukraine on July 17, 2014. 298 people became victims of the disaster. The case of the passenger plane crash was investigated by a joint investigation team led by the Dutch Prosecutor's office without the participation of Russia.
On June 17, 2024, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the Russian Federation was terminating its participation in the dispute with Australia and the Netherlands over the crash of the Boeing 777 aircraft being considered by the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization.
