Khabarovsk Territory to upgrade bus fleet by 50 million rubles

The Khabarovsk Territory is updating its fleet of passenger buses for transportation in municipalities. This is carried out on behalf of the head of the region Dmitry Demeshin. This year, 50 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes. The subsidies are provided within the framework of the regional state program "Development of the transport system".
As explained by IA AmurMedia, the regional Ministry of Transport and Road Management selects municipalities every year to provide subsidies on co-financing terms. This year, 10 municipalities have submitted applications. They plan to purchase 12 buses.
The relevant department stressed that in addition to providing subsidies, they assist in the selection of suppliers of equipment and carry out constant monitoring of its delivery. The products of Russian manufacturers are selected, taking into account the road and climatic features of the area. Preference is given to orange-colored cars to ensure recognition in the traffic flow.
By the end of the year, new equipment will be delivered to Amursky, Vyazemsky, Nikolaevsky and Solnechny districts, Amursk, Chegdomyn, Nikolaevsk-on-Amur, Solnechny, Okhotsk district and Elban. Transport will operate on municipal routes at regulated tariffs.
