The court in Moscow recovered 500 thousand rubles from Lebedev and Dudya on the claim of Mizulina

According to the lawsuit filed by Ekaterina Mizulina, head of the League for Secure Internet, for the protection of honor and dignity, the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow recovered a total of 500 thousand rubles from designer and blogger Artemy Lebedev and blogger Yuri Dudya (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). This was reported on May 13 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

The court decided to collect 200 thousand rubles from Dudya and 77 thousand rubles additionally for linguistic and phonoscopic expertise, and 300 thousand rubles from Lebedev. Thus, the claim was partially satisfied.

The pieces of the interview mentioning the head of the Safe Internet League, in turn, should be deleted. In addition, their further distribution is prohibited.

Lebedev's defense, in turn, stated that it intends to appeal the court's decision.

Lebedev gave an interview to Dudu, in which he expressed an indirect insult to Mizulina, in the summer of 2024. The head of the League for Secure Internet considered such behavior unacceptable and sued the designer who insulted her, as well as the author of the material in which the offensive statement was made, in order to bring them to justice under the administrative article on the protection of honor and dignity.
