High water has ended in the Khabarovsk Territory. Large-scale flooding is not recorded. These are the data from the Far Eastern Office of the Hydrometeorological Service.

So far, the Amur River level in Khabarovsk exceeds the norm by 80 cm, but the water should drop by 5-10 cm in the next two days. Rescuers continue to monitor the situation.

In addition, local flooding was recorded in the Amur floodplain near Bogorodskoye, on the Sukpai, Ussuri and Bureya rivers. There, the water rises 10-70 cm.

According to Pavel Listratenko, first deputy head of the regional Committee for Civil Protection, quoted by IA AmurMedia, the rivers are completely free of ice, the flood has ended, but caution must be observed. Hunters, fishermen, and tourists should be especially attentive, as they can be fined for violating safety regulations.

The rescue service urges local residents to avoid risky situations on and near the water, and to monitor children.

Earlier, on May 3, it was reported that the water level in the Ishim River, located in the Tyumen region, increased by 38 cm during the day and reached 872 cm. The level of the "dangerous phenomenon" mark was exceeded in the city of Ishim by 22 cm.
