Two employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations died as a result of an attack by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) while extinguishing a fire in Lugansk. This was reported on May 13 in the press service of the department.

"Mikhail Pronko, the head of the duty shift, and Dmitry Savenko, a senior firefighter, tragically died in the line of duty," the Telegram channel says.

It is noted that Pronko served in the system for 18 years, he was repeatedly awarded departmental awards. The deceased has two children. Savenko joined the Ministry of Emergency Situations five years ago, having proved himself a professional and a brave man, he still has an elderly mother.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, two employees are also under medical supervision, and 13 more specialists are undergoing outpatient treatment.

The government of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) announced this morning about the attack of three attack drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on an asphalt plant, which resulted in a fire. It was clarified that the Ukrainian drone, which killed the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, carried out the attack less than an hour after the first incident.
