The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia will open a criminal case after the desecration of a monument to Soviet soldiers in Moldova. This was announced on May 13 by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Telegram channel.
According to Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, a criminal case will be opened after the incident and all the circumstances of the incident will be established.
It is specified that unknown persons sprayed paint on a monument to soldiers of the 161st infantry regiment of the 95th Moldavian Rifle Division near the village of Ruska, Hincesti district.
On May 12, the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered a criminal case to be opened in connection with the desecration of the Bronze Soldier, a monument to the soldier who liberated Tallinn from the Nazi invaders. It is specified that this is not the first case of vandalism against the memorial to the soldiers of the Soviet Army.
