Since the beginning of this year alone, over 500 permits have been issued in Moscow for the preservation of cultural heritage sites. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

According to him, the facades of the N.A. Durasov Palace, which is the decoration of the Lublino estate, are currently being put in order. "This is an outstanding work of Russian manor architecture of the turn of the XVIII–XIX centuries," the mayor emphasized.

According to him, many works have already been completed there. In particular, the antique-themed bas-reliefs were restored, the stucco decoration was cleaned and small cracks were eliminated. "Everyone has to finish this year," Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel.

Emergency work is also underway in the building of the Pravda newspaper plant, one of the most significant monuments of constructivism by architect Panteleimon Golosov. According to the mayor, specialists are dismantling emergency areas and marking valuable fragments there. During the work, wooden letters were discovered, which in the past decorated the facade. These items will be saved.

Restoration work has also begun on the wooden gallery of the main house of the Narrow estate (Streshnevyh — Golitsyn). Earlier, the reconstruction of the northern wing was completed there, where the facades and interiors were restored, recreating the lost decorative elements.

In March, Sobyanin said that in 2024, the restoration of 157 architectural monuments was completed in Moscow. In particular, within the framework of the program "1 ruble per sq.m. m per year" specialists have put in order the travel gates with the guardhouse of the Khoroshevsky stud farm, the apartment building in Kropotkinsky Lane and the stables of the ensemble of the Tarasov family's urban estate. Work was also fully completed on five religious sites, including the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Novy Vagankovo on Three Mountains.
