Russia must have independence from imported components and components for the reliable functioning of all critical infrastructure facilities in the country. This was announced on May 13 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a meeting with Andrey Kanunnikov, Chairman of the Strategic Committee of the Kursk Electrical Equipment Plant (KEAZ) group.

"For the reliable functioning of all critical infrastructure facilities, including energy, transport, and strategic enterprises, of course, it is necessary to ensure independence from foreign components and components, including in terms of switching and protective low—voltage equipment," he said.

According to the Prime Minister, KEAZ manufactures electrical products that are important for the distribution of electric energy and the fulfillment of tasks to strengthen the industrial and technological sovereignty of the state.

On April 20, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin announced that Russia occupies a leading global position in digitalization, despite numerous hardware hacks. He clarified that programs to replace foreign information and communication technologies are showing results.

On April 1, Mishustin said that the Russian side retains its leading position in the global energy markets, despite the effect of Western sanctions. He specified that the country is actively expanding logistics routes in the directions of friendly states. At the same time, Russia's own needs are reliably met.
