A fishing championship will be held in Moscow from May 31 to June 8. The competitions are organized within the framework of the Moscow — on the Wave festival. Fish Week," the organizers said.

The championship will be held in two formats: for professionals and for amateurs. The tournament for athletes will be held on May 31 and June 1 on the territory of the reserve "Bank of the Moskva River" in the Kapotnya area. Professional anglers will compete for the main prize — a certificate worth 1 million rubles.

Competitions for amateurs will be held on May 31, June 1, 7 and 8. Fishing will take place in three metropolitan locations: in the Muzeon Park on the Moskva River embankment, on Bolshoy Grafsky Pond in the Veshnyaki district and on Bolshoy Chertanovsky Pond. At all reservoirs, the judges will determine three winners who will receive valuable prizes. To participate, you must pre-register on the festival's website.

Last year, the Championship gathered more than 1.5 thousand participants. In the framework of the professional competition, Beslan Vorokov won, whose catch of more than 24 kg became the absolute record of the tournament.

The festival "Moscow — on the wave. Fish Week is part of the program of the large-scale project "Summer in Moscow" and covers more than 30 sites in all districts of the capital. Leading fishing and fish processing companies from all over the country have brought their products to Moscow, and guests will also enjoy a rich program with master classes and sporting events.
