In Crimea, they spoke about Europe's plans to impose new sanctions against Russia

The head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, called the threats of a "coalition of those willing" to impose new sanctions on Russia the bragging of preschool children. This was reported on May 13 by RIA Novosti with reference to the deputy.
"It looks like the bragging of preschool children. Like, my dad has a big gun, and mine has an even bigger gun. This is no longer working, the stage has passed," the agency quotes Konstantinov.
According to him, the West has not lifted existing sanctions against Russia, but it cannot be intimidated by the introduction of new ones.
On Saturday, May 10, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, as well as the Prime Ministers of Great Britain and Poland, Keir Starmer and Donald Tusk, took part in a meeting of the so-called coalition of the willing, which took place in Kiev. As a result, Macron and Merz issued a statement saying that a new package of sanctions could be adopted against Russia within a few days if Moscow did not accept the terms of the truce proposed by the West, despite all previously violated truces by Kiev.
On May 10, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it was an empty matter to intimidate Russia with sanctions. He noted that the country has already become accustomed to sanctions and knows how to mitigate their consequences after their introduction.
