To eliminate false or outdated information about yourself from the search results, you can use the "right to oblivion." On May 12, the Department for the Organization of the fight against the illegal use of information and communication Technologies (UBK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia informed about this.

"In Russia, the concept of the "right to be forgotten" applies: citizens can request the removal of outdated or unreliable information about themselves from search results. Through Google, Yandex, or forms Mail.ru You can send a request to hide links containing false or irrelevant information," the department's Telegram channel says.

Among the additional security measures, the agency named the possibility of resorting to reliable antivirus applications and the "private" mode of the site. The user should also pay attention to suspicious resources, emails, and phishing sites, as confidential information may leak due to account hacking.

On May 11, the UBK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that fraudsters had started creating fake group chats. They make them look official in order to mislead people. As part of one scheme, attackers pose as employers and add people to chat rooms, where "colleagues" talk about their experiences and claim that they have already gone through the procedures to which fraudsters persuade users.
