Canadian Prime Minister Carney to unveil new Cabinet

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Tuesday, May 13, will present the country's new government, which will include more than half of the "newcomers". This was reported on May 12 by the CTV News channel with reference to the office.
"Carney's new cabinet will have a narrower composition, and although it is expected that the main cabinet will consist of less than 30 people, [the prime minister] will also appoint up to 10 secretaries of state," the publication says.
It is specified that former Canadian Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, known for her anti-Russian course, will remain in the cabinet.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Rideau Hall in Ottawa on May 13.
Earlier, on May 6, Carney said during a meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington that his country was not for sale. The American leader, in turn, noted that he was not going to discuss this topic with the Prime Minister now, but stressed that such a development would "give a lot of advantages" to Ottawa.
