A special fire protection regime has been abolished in Ussuriysk.

In the Ussuriysk city district (Primorsky Krai), a decision was made to abolish the special fire protection regime. This is reported by the UssurMedia news agency with reference to the relevant resolution signed by the head of the district on May 7.
The decision was made in connection with the normalization of the fire situation and the appearance of green grass cover on the territory of Ussuriysk. As stated in the text of the resolution, the circumstances that led to the introduction of ODA have been eliminated.
A special fire protection regime has been in effect in the Ussuriysk city district since February 15. It was introduced due to the dry, windy weather that lasted in the district for quite a long time, as well as the increased number of thermal temperatures in the forests. On the day of the establishment of the ODA in Ussuriysk, there was a natural fire on an area of 300 hectares.
It is noted that from May 13 to May 14, a high class of fire hazard in weather conditions is expected in the forests of the Ussuriysky gorokrug.
On May 11, Roscosmos published a satellite image of fires in Transbaikalia. The image shows areas of active gorenje, as well as extensive burning areas near Chita. In addition, smoke plumes and cloud formations caused by fires are clearly visible in the image.
